PRESUNTO INCUMPLIMIENTO DEL EJE EDUCATIVO EN LA REHABILITACIÓN DE LOS PPL EN EL "CRS-TURI"

Abstract

Education is considered a fundamental right of human beings throughout their lives, which is also recognized in the international legal framework in the International Human Rights Instruments and the National Legal System. This right implies that it must be guaranteed to every person, without exception or reason, since all human beings are rights holders. Within the framework of this protection, the people deprived of liberty (PDL) also deserve these rights since they are as important as education, which must be of high quality without any restriction or discrimination. However, despite this recognition, the current picture is different, as the situation of some Social Rehabilitation Centers is not encouraging. Within this research, the Historical-Logical method was applied, which allowed analyzing bibliographies, theories, and laws, in order to identify the alleged non-compliance with the educational axis in the rehabilitation of the PDL in the SRF TURI.
