| dc.description | OBJETIVO: El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la relación del nivel de ingreso económico y la negligencia al cuidado dental en la parroquia Huayna Cápac de la ciudad de Cuenca, 2017. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: la metodología aplicada para este estudio es de un diseño caso control. Para conformar la población para esta investigación se encuestó a 428 personas mayores de 65 años de la parroquia Huayna Cápac. En cuanto al muestreo, se realizó por método de conveniencia, en el cual de acuerdo a edad, sexo y exposición a la enfermedad (Con negligencia, sin negligencia) se encontró por pareo 40 casos y 40 controles. RESULTADOS: El resultado según el cálculo estadístico oddf ratio fue de 0.6 el cual determina que el nivel de ingreso económico no es un factor de riesgo para la negligencia al cuidado dental. CONCLUSION: Al terminar esta investigación se concluye que las mujeres son más negligentes a comparación de los varones. Y en rango etario en el que se presenta mayor negligencia al cuidado dental es en las personas de 70 años de edad. | es_ES |
| dc.description.resumen | OBJECTIVE: The objective of this research was to analyze the relationship of income level and negligence to dental care in the Huayna Cápac parish of the city of Cuenca, 2017. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The methodology applied for this study is a case of design control. To conform the population for this research, 428 people over 65 years old were surveyed from the Huayna Capac parish. As for sampling, it was carried out by convenience method, in which according to age, sex and exposure to the disease (negligently, without negligence) 40 cases and 40 controls were found by pareo. RESULTS: The result according to the oddf ratio statistical calculation was 0.6 which determines that the level of economic income is not a risk factor for the negligence of dental care. CONCLUSION: At the end of this investigation, it is concluded that women are more negligent compared to men.
