This research was carried out in the Macas parish of the Morona canton whose objective was to evaluate the response agronomy of the Pleurotus ostreatus fungus, under four substrates derived from crop residues for this was used; cane bagasse, corn gophers, Pigue sawdust and coffee husks with which 4 treatments were made up of 5 repetitions having a total of 20 experimental units. Each unit had three blocks of 2kg of substrate and 0.2 kg of seeds. The culture had two phases: the dark room and the light room under controlled environmental conditions. The treatment based on T2 corn gophers obtained the highest yield with 47% and a biological efficiency of 68%, it was also the first to be colonized and the first to emerge from fruiting body shoots. Without much difference, the T1 based on sugarcane bagasse obtained a yield of 33%, while the substrate based on coffee husks T4, was the one with the lowest performance with 11%. The T3 treatment of Pigue sawdust emitted primordia shoots only after 48 days and reached a basic colonization of 30% of its experimental units in the period studied. To complement this investigation, the economic analysis was carried out with the T2 treatment, which was the one with the highest performance, with a projection of 5 years, reached an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 92% and the benefit value cost is 1.25 which means that the project is profitable.
