Ítem Acceso Abierto Fiabilidad de red de distribución mediante modelo Monte Carlo acoplando micro generación(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2024) Romero Bohórquez, Lismer Jehu; Torres Estrada, Andrés Francisco; Cabrera Mejía, Javier Bernardo; 0705997864; 1104996911This research evaluates the reliability of the network in the Academic Department of Engineering, Industry, and Construction (UAIIC by its Spanish acronym), incorporating microgeneration. It also proposes to improve this network’s reliability using the aforementioned system. The Monte Carlo method is used for evaluating reliability, and the simulations will be conducted in the Matlab Simulink software. For the analysis, two approaches are proposed: with generation and without distributed generation, using data collected from the quality equipment with the Fluke 434 Power Quality Analyzer through a meticulous study of all the norms and parameters of quality to diagnose the effects caused with and without distributed generation on the network and the quality of energy injected into the Academic Department. The results of this research indicate that by using the FLUKE 434 Power Quality Analyzer from the UAIIC and comparing values with and without distributed generation, several disturbances in the network affect the quality and reliability of the energy supplied to the Academic Department. Additionally, the implementation of microgeneration shows an improvement in the network system. The average voltage difference among the three lines was 1.06% with Distributed Generation, which does not exceed the values permitted by the Arconel 004-01 standard, and should not exceed 10% in low voltage, resulting in improved voltage levels.
