The objective of this research was to review the visual snow syndrome associated with migraine, questions were raised such as prevalence, triggering factors, clinical characteristics, diagnostic methods and treatment options. To carry out this bibliographic review, an exhaustive search of the scientific literature was carried out in various databases. The management of this condition is based on prevention, avoiding exposure to triggers, since there is no specific treatment for this path9ology. Continued research and study of migraine drugs offer encouraging prospects for improving the quality of life of those who suffer from this condition. The importance of this pathology lies in its diagnosis, since patients who present visual snow syndrome can be misdiagnosed. It is related to migraine, which is a common neurological condition that affects a large number of people. Worldwide. In a topic that is interesting for doctors of different specialties, mainly neurologists, ophthalmologists and psychiatrists due to the symptoms that this syndrome presents. It is a rare and relatively “new” syndrome, based on the findings, the pathophysiology is elusive since the cause of this syndrome is not completely known, it is constantly updated and new treatments, both pharmacological and non-pharmacological, are being tested. The most notable thing is the symptoms of visual snow syndrome, which are very characteristic of the pathology. These allow us to reach an accurate diagnosis in the patient and indicate the most effective treatment for them.
