The generation of technological waste is a progressive problem that affects the world. In Ecuador, the increase in the production of this waste and the lack of management puts the environment at risk. For this reason, this research work presents the design and proposal for a technological waste management process at the Catholic University of Cuenca. Based on an analysis of different technological areas of the university. Results obtained in the SPSS tool of the different questions analyzed are presented. The results show that several activities should be applied more frequently. Through the monitoring of good practices and standards, specified in the ISO 14001:2015 standard, the proposal to improve the efficiency and management of electronic waste is presented.
