Ítem Acceso Abierto Enseñanza de programación a niños de edad escolar utilizando scratch para mejora del(Universidad Catolica de Cuenca extension Cañar, 2022-02-15) Angamarca Cazho, Oscar Edison; Andrade Cardenas, Danny Patricio; 030171558-7ABSTRACT This article is a study carried out in Cañar Canton with the participation of children aged 8 to 15 years belonging to the same Canton to improve their logical reasoning through the use of the scratch tool. The objectives of this study were: a) to build a school intervention proposal for teaching programming through resources that contribute to the strengthening of logical reasoning using scratch and teaching methodologies, b) to conduct a theoretical study of programming tools for children and the importance of programming, c) to evaluate the development of students´ computational thinking through their scratch practices, d) to develop a proposal for using the scratch tool to improve children´ logical reasoning. Statistical analysis was carried out based on the surveys applied to the children on mathematical logical thinking, using a qualitative-quantitative methodology. The results obtained showed that scratch software improves children's comprehension capacity by providing systematic thinking and concluding that the educational tool improves children's reasoning creatively.
