Ítem Acceso Abierto Propuesta para la mejora en el servicio a los usuarios de Fab Lab de la Universidad Católica de Cuenca(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Guachichullca Avila, Edisson Israel; Gárate Aguirre, Juan Carlos; 0104652714This research aims to elaborate a proposal for improving the service to users of the FAB LAB laboratory of the Catholic University of Cuenca. The Design Thinking methodology was applied to users through techniques and instruments suitable to argue the proposal’s approach and collect the necessary information. After processing and analyzing the collected information through the investigation and interviews, it was possible to establish a lack of valuable means to publicize the availability of FAB LAB machinery to be used by its users, which would facilitate their usage requirements. It is essential to propose a solution that makes it easier for users to know the availability of the existing machinery in FAB LAB to know when and at what time it is feasible to use them for their work. In the modern technological context, services are a highly applicable web business, so it is crucial to combine methodologies and environments to develop services attractively and efficiently. The proposal would positively impact on FAB LAB users as it would facilitate work, reduce waiting times, and save money. The institution is recommended to fully support implementing new programs, methods, and technological applications to improve service optimally and effectively for all users.
