Estrategias didácticas en el desarrollo del razonamiento lógico en el bachillerato

This research aims to know the pedagogical activities used by teachers who utilize digital tools to enhance the development of mathematical reasoning among high school students in the “16 de Abril” and “Luis Rogerio González” Schools of the Azogues canton, Cañar province. The objective is that young people receive an education according to their needs and develop specific skills that enable them to integrate easily into their daily lives and an innovative educational system. A quantitative methodology was employed, utilizing a survey to collect information from teachers regarding their use of teaching strategies. The information was processed and analyzed. Descriptive statistical data —focused on studying the natural context—served to have a definite criterion on the reality of education in these schools. Based on the results, a methodological proposal was formulated, incorporating didactic tools at strengthening and stimulating logical thinking development. The result of this study evidences positive aspects of some didactic approaches and fulfill the research objective, i.e., to provide innovative teaching tools that lead students toward problem-solving.
