- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoAnálisis económico entre cimentaciones losa maciza y "T" invertida(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Castro Guaillas, Jessica Elizabeth; González Rodríguez, Florencio Geovanny; 0302209887; ., .The present work analyzes two types of foundations: salid slab and inverted "T" with the objective of establishing which ofthe two structures is the most econornical for a 6-story building located in the city of Azogues in a consolidated area, following technical specifications, factors and coefficients of the Ecuadorian Construction NEC-15 and the criteria of the A.C.I. Code 3 l 8S-l 9. Through the use of Cypecad software that will allow us to know previously the functionality of the structure, evaluate the criteria of torsion, basal shear, centers of mass and floor drift. Our analysis allows us to discern and show that the technical criteria such as: floor drifts, torsion, settlements, stresses on the ground do not vary greatly between the foundation alternatives studied, therefore, at a technical level both proposals meet the same service standard. At the economic leve! we found a considerable difference in pnces, the solid slab foundation is 41,205.28 USD and the construction cost of the inverted "T" beam foundation is 30,080.96 USO. A difference of 11,124.32 USD, 36.98% of the cost of the inverted "T" beam foundation. Therefore, it mm is feasible to use the inverted "T" beam foundation alternative, since it is more economical. is it concluded that
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoEvaluación de la calidad del agua del sistema de abastecimiento de la junta Pampa Vintimilla mediante lineamientos técnicos de vigilancia y control para comunidades(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Rojas Abad, Juan Xavier; González Rodríguez, Florencio Geovanny; 0302715255; ., .The present titling work includes the evaluation of the water quality of the supply system of the Pampa Vintimilla Board, located in the Azogues canton, from the description, monitoring and registration of its infrastructure through the information collection form for community water providers presented by the water quality regulation and control agency (ARCA), In addition, the physical, chemical and microbiological characterization of the water through the collection of samples in representative points of the system and the analysis of the results obtained through the ranges decreed by the Ecuadorian technical standard NTE INEN 1108. The control parameters established for the study were: chlorine residual, color, conductivity, total coliforms, fecal coliforms, total hardness, hardness calcium, magnesium hardness, smell and taste, pH, total solids, temperature, turbidity. Based on the results obtained, it was determined that the water distributed by the Junta Pampa Vintimilla is not suitable for human consumption as it has high rates concentration of coliform bacteria, in addition to exceeding the limit of several control parameters such as: residual chlorine, color, turbidity, pH.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoGuía para análisis, diseño y detallamiento de conexiones de madera en edificaciones(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Landín Calle, Darío Javier; González Rodríguez, Florencio Geovanny; 0302311345; ., .The main objective of this work is to develop of a guide document for wood connections which are used in buildings, with its process of analysis, design and graphic representation, through the bibliographic review to present updated information, embodied in a guide with the exposure of practical applications to our environment. It has been made a classification of the types of structural wood existing in Ecuador, as well as the type of most used in patrimonial and modern houses in Azogues city; it was applied a survey of ten houses built with this material. On the other hand, a description of wooden houses was also made focusing on their connections and how they have been built traditionally and modernly, showing if they are using new alternatives of joint design. For the analysis and connection design, information was collected from the structure of a wooden house built in Chavay Alto near Azogues city Based on this building, a guide was developed for the analysis, design and detailing of the connection, using the Ecuadorian Standard for wood construction and with the help of the Andean Group’s Wood Design Manual. The connection used is steel plate with screws. It is one kind of connection, of some developed in the world.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoPropuesas de diseños estructurales de una cubierta metálica para la cancha de uso múltiple de la comunidad de Babarcote del cantón Biblian provincia del Cañar(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2019) Espinoza González, Diego Vinicio; González Rodríguez, Florencio Geovanny; 0302531983; ., .The objective of this work is to design two roofs for the multiple use court of Babarcote, for which, at first, information was collected in relation to theoretical foundations, concepts, as well as the revision of the regulations (NEC, 2015, and the AISI 1996). The first alternative is formed by a truss or lattice and the columns are bent to the cold; whereas the second alternative consists of a lattice and its columns are HEB type in hot-rolled steel; for the design of these superstructures it was necessary to use SAP2000 software, in which values were inserted as sections, live, dead, environmental loads obtained according to the regulations. The welding process was carried out in compliance with the parameters of the specification In order to obtain the costs, the items of the Provincial GAD of the Cañar were obtained, with which a comparison was made according to the economic value of the two proposed alternatives, being the one the most economical alternative with a budget of $ 47187.12 while alternative two is about $ 52274.79 USD.
