This study analyzes the variables in developing e-commerce in MSMEs in Azogues City in Ecuador. Thus, an exploratory and descriptive scope was used, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design for the data collection on a single occasion. The study subjects were the consumers of the city of Azogues, where a non-probabilistic sampling was applied, with a sample of 379 people, through a survey with 15 questions related to sociodemographic data, internet use, preferences of electronic payment methods, and consideration of the variables. One of the most relevant results found in this article is that 41.7% of the total surveyed make online purchases more than once a month, 31% prefer the use of debit and credit cards; concerning ease of use, 50.24% consider that it is easy to use, while 44.8% feel insecure. In conclusion, the MSMEs in Azogues face a significant challenge with the evolution of online shopping, one of the main drawbacks being the distrust and lack of knowledge that society presents towards this new way of purchase.

A quantitative methodology was used, following the positivist paradigm. The research had an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational scope. The study was carried out among employees of retail businesses in Azogues, using a census sample of 164 subjects obtained from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Azogues database. The sample size was calculated using the simple random sample size formula, resulting in a sampling size of 115. The survey technique was used with a questionnaire as the measuring instrument. The questionnaire was validated by experts, and Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was calculated to measure the instrument’s internal consistency. A coefficient of 0.876 was obtained, indicating good reliability of the collected data. The results revealed high Spearman correlation coefficients between the independent variables Prom_Entrepreneurship (0.951**), Prom_Innovation (0.991**), and Prom_Enterprise Management (0.986**) and the dependent variable Prom_Positioning, indicating a statistically significant correlation. Finally, the study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current situation of retail companies in Azogues; identify areas of opportunity and potential challenges, and offer recommendations so that these companies can reevaluate, adjust, and improve their strategies and achieve their objectives more effectively and efficiently.

Under a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach study, the descriptive and exploratory statistical method was applied whit 110 respondents. Concerning the results of the variable Product, 30% of those surveyed HAD A LOW -MEDIUM ECONOMY LEVEL for buying the product. likewise, 29% of the respondents prefer good-quality product. In the Price variable, 46% of those interviewed accepted the price, while the remainder indicated that it should be improved since 39% of the population does not have a stable financial capacity. According to the Promotion variable, there is good product knowledge with 30%, and 70% do not. In of offers and discounts. Similarly, 71% believe that the promotion of the product should be through digital media. For the Place variable, about 57% of respondents, promoting social media channels would significantly increase sales. Furthermore, 38% and 36% emphasize that the business place is good and very good, respectively, since 53% believe the company’s location is relevant.

However, the situation changed dramatically when the pandemic forced people to adapt to new business ways. Aware of this trend, local companies accelerated their transition to e-commerce to keep their businesses afloat, leading to the post-pandemic consolidation of e-commerce. Therefore, this research aims to determine the pre and post-covid e-commerce in the canton of Biblián - Ecuador. The methodology used is exploratory and descriptive since an analysis of e-commerce before and after the pandemic was developed, accompanied by a market study through a survey application. The data were analyzed and proved useful in determining the causes and consequences of e-commerce in the businesses of Biblián. The results confirm a non-parametric distribution, with an arithmetic mean of 3.85 and a standard deviation of 0.7. In conclusion, the COVID pandemic has accelerated the adoption of e-commerce, which was once considered a developing trend, but today has become an integral part of the business landscape. It has also brought benefits to both consumers and local businesses, transforming the way transactions are conducted and contributing to the region’s economic development.
- ÍtemAcceso Abierto“Dimensiones de la logística en las Pymes: Almacenes de Ferretería, Eléctrico y Metal Mecánica Biblián – Ecuador”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Vásquez Aguayza, Crystopher Joel; Quevedo Vázquez, Jorge Oswaldo; 0302120415; ., .The article analyzes the dimensions of logistics in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the hardware, electrical, and metal-mechanical warehousing sector in Biblián, Ecuador. The study’s main objective is to explore innovative logistics, logistic processes, and their influence on the integrated logistics of these companies. The research is based on a positivist approach and uses an exploratory, descriptive, and correlational research design. The study population consisted of 40 employees, and data was collected through surveys using a questionnaire validated by experts. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was applied to evaluate the instrument’s internal consistency, and a value of 0.836 was obtained, indicating adequate consistency. The results show descriptive statistics of the variables related to integrated logistics (0,976**) and related logistics processes (0,985**). Data such as arithmetic mean, standard deviation, variance, range, minimum and maximum are presented for these variables. In addition, a normality test was performed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, and it was determined that the variables follow a non-normal distribution. Therefore, Spearman’s nonparametric correlation test was used to analyze the relationships between the variables. The results showed a high correlation and statistical significance between the independent variables (innovative logistics and logistics processes) and the dependent (integrated logistics). In summary, this study provides relevant information on the dimensions of logistics in MSMEs in hardware, electrical and metal-mechanical warehouses in Biblián, Ecuador.

It has an impact on the productivity and development of organizations and countries. It is considered strategic in generating value efficiently. This study aims to determine innovation strategies for product, process, and management in commercial MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises) in Azogues-Ecuador through applied research to generate areas of business opportunity. The methodology used was exploratory, quantitative, non-experimental, and cross-sectional, involving a field study. A 25-question Likert scale questionnaire was administered to 133 employees of MSMEs. The results showed that most entrepreneurs are older than 30, with incomes of less than $1000. A significant correlation exists among business entrepreneurship, competitive advantage, business management, and innovation in commercial MSMEs.

Hence the investigation begins with the following research question: What factors are associated with evaluating teaching performance? An exploration was applied through the scientific study and the positivist paradigm. The investigation variables analyzed from a concept construct, theories, and applied studies are described, explored, and correlated. The research subject is the teaching staff of the Azogues Campus of the Catholic University of Cuenca; the population comprises 192 educators. The sample size is calculated with a 95% confidence level with a 1.96 critical value, maintaining a confidence level interval corresponding to two standard deviations. Moreover, correlations were performed with Spearman's method in which it is evident that Prom_Motivation (0.442**), Prom_Goal_Achievement (0.454**), Prom_Self-Efficacy (0.553**) have a high correlation with the Prom_Evaluation Teacher Performance dependent variable and are statistically significant at a lower level than 0.05 of the p-value. Thus, based on the data obtained, it is concluded that the research responds positively to the study problem.

This research aims to determine the aspects related to the MSMEs' productive chain in Azogues in 2022 in an indigenous strike scenario through applied research to adopt reactivation strategies. It is a mixed-approach study. The scope is exploratory, descriptive, and correlational. The sample comprises 973 MSMEs in the secondary sector (manufacturing). The instrument used was a questionnaire validated by the SPSS statistical program. The results corroborate that Prom_FreeMobility (0.442**) and Prom_InsuranceProviders (0.361**) have a statistically significant association with the MSMEs' productive chain in Azogues canton. In conclusion, the indigenous social movement did not affect the MSMEs' activities or the people's mobility in the Azogues canton; however, other cities were affected.

In view of this, the objective is to analyze the digital media used by people and companies for the sale of goods and/or services by exploring the phenomenon of electronic commerce for exponential development. In this sense, the purchasing preferences and the digital media used by individuals in online buying and selling were analyzed. The research followed an exploratory, descriptive, quantitative and cross-sectional methodology, based on a systematic investigation of the literature and a field work through the application of a structured survey that was used to the study subjects, being this part of the population. economically active in the canton of Azogues. The study reflected that the main means of marketing online are social networks, among which the use of Facebook and WhatsApp stood out with 49.3% and 29.7% respectively, in the same way it was established that Amazon and Mercado Libre are the digital marketing platforms most used in the sale or purchase of products with 37.8% and 34.5% respectively. It is concluded that there is an inclination to use social networks for marketing and the main reason for using digital media is access to the diversity of products regardless of where the user is located.
