Una revisión sistemática.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca, 2022-07-01) Castro Saeteros, Inés Verónica; Bustamante Espinoza, Katerine; 030254157-8Introduction: Chronic non-communicable diseases are pathologies, which affects the biological well-being of patients; the care of chronic diseases, suffered great neglect due to the large number of patients with Covid-19, this resulted in a great impact on the reduction of medication and care, leading to an increase in the mortality rate in this type of people, this problem had a great impact in developing countries. Objective: To systematize the available scientific evidence on the impact of health care on patients with chronic non-communicable diseases during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: A qualitative systematic review was carried out based on the PRISMA method, aimed at locating and documenting information, using the Spanish and English languages, through the application of keywords, updated articles from the last 5 years. Result: The following categories were analyzed: collateral damage of chronic non-communicable diseases, the impact of the pandemic on the care of non-communicable diseases, impact on the prioritization of health services, prevention of Covid-19 in individuals with chronic non-communicable diseases, abandonment of treatment by patients with chronic non-communicable diseases. Conclusion: The Covid-19 pandemic caused a decrease in access to medical attention and care for patients with chronic non-communicable diseases, significantly increasing morbidity and mortality in this type of individuals, due to the complication of pathological conditions. Una revisión Sistemática.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca, 2021-11-30) Mainato Duy, Nube Beatriz; Bustamante Espinoza, Katerine; 030214234-4ABSTRACT Introduction: The binominal HIV and Tuberculosis is associated with high morbility and mortality in patients with this pathology due to the COVID-19. Hence, patient with HIV the antiretroviral in patients had to be interrupted. In patients with Tuberculosis (TB) the promotion and prevention health program had been limited, consequently, the world health system has seen great deal of demand and problems. Objective: To systematize the scientific evidence available bout the mortality and morbidity in patients re-infected with TB-HIV/VOVID-19. Methodology: This systematic review study was conducted through the interpretation of complete scientific papers published both in English and Spanish from 2017 and 2021 of open access, using the PRISMA method and the searching engines Scopus, Google Scholar and the health virtual library. Results: The coinfection VIV-COVID-19 and TB-COVID-19 represents an imminent risk of the morbidity and mortality rate, but at the moment there are no records about the mortality rate mortality rate from triple infection, although due to carelessness prevention programs and health promotion on HIV and TB, the morbidity and mortality rate has increased, at the level of HIV by 2.75%, while at the level of Tuberculosis by 2.58%. Conclusion: The impact of COVID-19 in patients with HIV and Tuberculosis is uncertain, because there have been no cases of triple infection, so the exact percentage of mortality due to this triple coinfection cannot be specified. It appears cleat that mental health is crucial to ensure the general well being of individuals, societies. and countries Objective To describe the existing scientific evidence published from 2016 to 2021 regarding mental health problems associated with COVI0-19 in Latin America. A systematic review Method A systematic review of the literature was carried out with the PRISMA statement based on the inclusion and exclusion a criterion In Spanish. English. and Portuguese, throughout different databases such as Scielo, Google Scholar, Redalyc Medline/PubMed. and Scopus published in full text within the last five years Results: results show that out of 1,005 articles. only 20 were included severity in of mental health in the research, after analyzing them. four categories were included severity of mental health in the face of COVID- 19, burnout levels stress and anxiety. psychological stress due to COVID 19, morbidity and mortality from COVID-19. Conclusions The problems associated with mental heath in the general population of Latin America seen that the COVJD-19 pandemic has had a great impact on mental health characterized by fear of being infected, insomnia. anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and the perception of losing one's life. - ÍtemAcceso AbiertoSecuelas de la infección por covid-19 en pacientes con enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles: Una revisión sistemática.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca, 2022-07-01) Guaman Vasquez, Marcia Fernanda; Bustamante Espinoza, Katerine; 030269600-0Introduction: The Sars-CoV-2 virus caused the appearance of an emerging respiratory disease which at first, affected people with chronic non-communicable diseases causing greater complications in these individuals´ health and consequently, turned out in a high mortality rate and in other cases effects which have caused the loss of people´s health. Objective: To systematize the scientific evidence available on the effects of Covid-19 infection in patients with chronic non-communicable diseases, focusing on evidence-based scientific knowledge. Method: the systematic review is based on the meta-study, through a comprehensive analysis from the Prisma method and followed by the inclusion criteria (high impact scientific journals, the last five years 2018 – 2022 publications, English and Spanish language articles, keywords use: effect, Covid-19, infection, chronic diseases, post-acute. The studies used were selected according to the nursing area, where virtual platforms were used. Findings: analysis categories were generated: chronic non-communicable diseases and Covid-19, post-Covid effect types, Covid-19 control in patients with chronic non-communicable diseases. Conclusions: The effects vary according to the patient´s care and the affected organ due to Covid-19 especially physical, psychological, respiratory, cardiac, renal, digestive, circulatory, and anxious effects which may disappear with time.
