The proposal of an institutional Media Communication System of the Catholic University of Cuenca, is that it allows to comprehend how communication processes are developed for internal and externa! audiences. The challenges today for this institution of higher education are many, for this reason it is necessary to have well-defined communication policies in order to achieve sustainable development in their teaching and management processes. The proper use of traditional and digital media owned by the University allows to create interaction channels that comprise all, hence the importance of analyzing its impact and scope. Creating differentiated content for each media and tracking, allowing to monitor the effectiveness of the content and information issued; so, the media will have better results and a great power of communication.
