- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoDiseño e implementación de un prototipo para un sistema de parqueo con aplicación móvil(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Vijay Cajamaca, Franklin Geovanny; Coronel González, César Alvarito; 0302641766; ., .Finding an easy and fast parking place in the surroundings of the Bus Terminal is very difficult because it generates vehicular chaos due to the high demand for parking required by the influx of both students and professionals who attend the Catholic University of Cuenca, Azogues branch, every day. As a result of this, research to design a prototype of mobile monitoring for an parking system through wireless networks for the parking area of the University is proposed, which will be tested to evaluate the efficiency of the project. The research project was performed according to several stages, first, literary research was developed as well as relevant information was obtained on systems and equipment necessary for the design of a prototype of mobile monitoring parking through optimal, and easily accessible digital platforms, considering the economic costs. Subsequently, field tests were conducted in a public parking lot, from which the operation and results of the project were observed. Finally, the results of the mobile application were analyzed in real-time, establishing the validity of the project.
- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoDiseño e implementación de un sistema automático de riego para jardines o cultivos domésticos(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2020) Crespo Santander, Adrián Marcelo; Coronel González, César Alvarito; 0302589922; ., .The development of this project research of the Electronic Engineering degree of the Catholic University of Cuenca arises from a primal objective that offers to design and implement an automatic prototype for the irrigation of gardens or home grown crops, this aim stems from the needs of people who own these spaces, and who have neither time nor knowledge regarding the care and improvement of gardens. This problem is solved with the design of a mobile application that works in the control through comparisons of the type of soil and plant, using communication with the sensors and the Arduino microcontroller, this was conducted employing wireless technology, and which has been selected by relevant analysis. This application allows through signals obtained by measurement of temperature and humidity sensors placed on the ground, to control the state of the soil and verify that it does not have excess or deficit of hydration. Finally, a model was built and it showed the operation of the mobile application and the connection to the different integrated devices, which when it is implemented will allow minimizing as well as facilitating the people’s work to whom own these areas.
