| dc.description | Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia de rinitis alérgica y factores asociados, hospital\nJosé Carrasco Arteaga, marzo-agosto 2014.\nMateriales y Métodos: Estudio cuantitativo, observacional, descriptivo de corte\ntransversal, para el cálculo se consideró el tamaño poblacional 3380 pacientes con\ndiagnóstico de rinitis alérgica, que acudieron durante todo el 2013 al hospital José\nCarrasco Arteaga. Se ratificó el cálculo realizado con el Sistema estadístico Epi-Info\nversión 6, con los siguientes datos: peor aceptable del 47%, nivel de confianza del\n95%.Una frecuencia esperada 53,14%, y se obtuvo una muestra de 236 pacientes.\nSe añadió el 10% de pérdidas y se obtiene un total de 260. El instrumento utilizado\nfue un formulario previamente validado. Los resultados fueron procesados en el\nsistema SPSS 15.00 versión Evaluación.\nResultados: En el estudio encontramos que la prevalencia de rinitis alérgica es del\n14,28 %, y el factor asociado más importante es el lugar de residencia, en el cuál los\npacientes que residen en zona urbana tienen 1,04 veces más de riesgo de presentar\nrinitis alérgica.\nConclusiones: Los factores asociados más importantes de la rinitis alérgica son el\nlugar de residencia, los pacientes fumadores tienen mayor riesgo de presentar rinitis\nalérgica perenne, y los pacientes que tienen diagnóstico de rinitis alérgica\nestacionaria son los que más refieren mejoría con el tratamiento recibido. | es_ES |
