Diseño del proyecto de inversión y gerenciamineto de una empresa de catering y servicios en Azogues

Abstract

This research work arises from a problem identified around the possibility of introducing to the market of the city of Azogues, a new business proposal based on Catering services. For this, the starting objective was the preparation of a feasibility study that would allow demonstrating the viability of the proposal.

Then a market study was applied to a sample of 380 consumers of this type of product, thus being able to quantify the unmet potential demand, and set marketing criteria.

In the technical study that was later defined, the criteria for location, legal and organizational structure, and process engineering were established. Finally, in the economic study we can quantify in monetary figures the initial investment, and the different costs and expenses that served as a basis to establish the price of the product, and estimate the possible income, from which a Net Present Value was obtained (VAN) of $ 61,021.52 and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 14%.

Due to the above, it was possible to conclude that the business proposal contained in this research work is feasible for its implementation.
