Ítem Acceso Abierto Estrategias didácticas para el desarrollo de la matemática en niños de básica media(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Idrovo García, Doménica Malena; Cárdenas Cordero, Nancy Marcela; 1751506567; ., .This research aims to analyze the didactic strategies teachers apply to middle school children in mathematics development in the institutions of the city of Azogues. Methodologically, the work is non-experimental, with a descriptive and mixed cross-sectional approach. Among the most relevant results is that teachers consider that implementing different didactic strategies contributes significantly to mathematic development and the acquisition of meaningful learning. Sixty percent of the teachers surveyed consider that implementing gamification as a didactic strategy for learning mathematics is a viable option to help students since this subject is considered difficult and complex. Teachers should support the implementation of appropriate strategies; moreover, Mathematics can be an easy and interesting field when treated dynamically and innovatively. Therefore, in a globalized world, current education must focus on the needs and realities of students, encouraging teachers to use didactic strategies and technological tools that engage students' attention and help them discover that the field of mathematics can be fun and playful.Ítem Acceso Abierto Problemas de aprendizaje en la enseñanza de la escritura en niños de básica media(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Piña Toalongo, Kevin Andres; Castro Salazar, Ana Zulema; 0303147516; ., .This research aimed to learn about the learning problems in the teaching process of writing in basic education children at the following educational institutions: Emilio Abad and 16 de Abril Basic Education Schools located in Azogues Canton, Cañar Province. Methodologically, this study is non-experimental with a quantitative approach because descriptive statistics were used applying the JASPS program. A cross-sectional cohort design was also used in this study since the data was obtained during the 2022-2023 school year. Fifteen teachers were taken as sample analysis to conduct this research. A survey was used as a technique, a questionnaire of 15 questions as a survey instrument, and the Likert scale was used as a rating system. The survey instrument was validated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of reliability. Data collection was performed through field research, and descriptive statistics were used to consolidate the information. Ninety-three percent of the teachers consider appropriate methodologies to be fundamental. This information is satisfactory since it is pleasing to know that teachers work with strategies that promote reflective, critical, and participatory student development fostering a quality educational process. In addition, teachers use digital tools and appropriate methodologies for teaching writing, as well as the use of strategies to teach spelling. The teaching of writing through the implementation of active methodologies allows learning to be dynamic, participatory, and motivating.
