Ítem Acceso Abierto Necesidades educativas especiales en niños/as con discapacidad, alcances y limitaciones de la educación inclusiva nivel escolar(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Berrezueta Orellana, Christian Gabriel; Urgilés León, Sandra Jackeline; 0103730909The objective of this research is to analyze the special educational needs, scope, and limitations of children with disabilities, based on a literature review of special educational needs (SEN) in the education of students of general basic education. The same study, which will allow defining a tool to identify the needs of students of the Educational Unit “27 de Febrero”, will be carried out from October 2022 to February 2023. The purpose is to highlight the SEN and show that they can be addressed in a particular way to meet the needs of each student and achieve meaningful learning according to the objectives established in the educational unit. The methodology used in this research is quantitative, the deductive method of research will be used, and the technique of bibliographic review, scientific databases, and the survey in the fieldwork will be employed. There will be the collaboration of 17 teachers and staff of the Department of Student Counseling (DECE) of the Educational Unit “27 de Febrero”, located in the Girón Canton of the province of Azuay. The type of research that will be carried out is descriptive because the following variables will be studied: Special Educational Needs, Curricular Adaptations, Educational Inclusion, and Disability. The results yielded data on the Special Educational Needs presented by the students, which are associated with disability, while others are not.
