The questionnaires were applied in two periods (pre-test and post test) with a period of three months in between each of them. The SPSS program was used for the descriptive and reliable statistical analyses. The results in the experimental group showed an increase in the dimensions related to motivation and sport satisfaction, favoring mainly intrinsic motivation. In the control group, the changes were not determinant in terms of motivation and satisfaction levels. - ÍtemAcceso AbiertoLa práctica del atletismo a través del juego: Modelo ludotécnico(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Fernández Lema, Henry Xavier; Heredia León, Diego Andrés; 0302222849; ., .The current research e,phasizes on the practice of Track and Field through recreational games, based on a neew approach such as the ludotechnical model, which suggests as its main input the cognitive, emotional, motor and ludic aspects to be used in Physical Education. The objetive was to determine if Physical Education teachers carry out track and field activities with students through the ludotechnical model. A total of 50 teachers participated in the research from different schools in the canton of Cañar. A survey was applied, which has been previously tested by experienced and qualifield teachers with vast experience inthis field. The SPSS statistical software was used for data processing and analysis of the results, with frequencies and porcentages. The results obtained in this research reveal that the ludotechnical model is not the most popular in devoloping learning processes, since the most widely used model is the traditional one, which is unique to each school. In conclusion, teachers in their teaching practice are still applying other models for Physical Education and Track and Field classes, while, in spite of these limitations, a porcentage, althoughlow, stated that they are aware of the play-technical model and recognize the benefits of applying it.
