Ítem Acceso Abierto Consecuencias psicológicas en niños víctimas de abuso sexual. revisión sistemática.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Duchitanga Campoverde , Kevin; Kumpanam Segarra , Johanna; Ormaza Ulloa, Luis; 0105355952; 0302002589Sexual violence is considered a public health issue due to its high prevalence worldwide. Victims of child sexual abuse are likely to experience psychological sequelae after enduring such abuse, which may manifest over an indefinite period. Our research aims to provide up-to-date, relevant, and organized information about the psychological consequences of sexual abuse in children. A qualitative, non-experimental, systematic review study was conducted based on the parameters in the PRISMA statement. To achieve this objective, articles from the Scopus and PUBMED databases were selected, using terms in both Spanish and English, such as child sexual abuse, psychological consequences, sexual trauma, childhood, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), conduct disorder, and psychological trauma. Following inclusion and exclusion criteria and based on a title reading, 2254 publications were initially considered, from which 12 records that met the inclusion criteria were ultimately obtained. These 12 records were further analyzed in-depth to be included in the systematic review. The most common psychological consequences in children’s victims of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) are post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, which are present in the majority of cases. Our study aimed to provide updated, organized, and relevant information about the psychological consequences of child sexual abuse, which can help generate tools for implementing psychological intervention programs.
