Ítem Solo Metadatos Evaluación psicológica forense en víctimas de abuso sexual infantil en Latinoamérica.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Ramírez Romero, Martha C.; Polo Martínez, Eulalia M.; 0706156247Introduction: Child sexual abuse (CSA) is a social problem of great impact. It requires not only the participation of several disciplines and organizations dealing with child protection issues but also the involvement of society in general. This is because it is a universal and public phenomenon that causes psychological and social repercussions. In Latin America, statistics on child sexual abuse show that the female sex far outnumbers the male sex, between the ages of 3 and 12. These abuses are provoked by family members or acquaintances of the victims. Objective: To analyze the forensic psychkl¿’cvological evaluation of child sexual abuse victims in Latin America. Methodology: The research was conducted through a descriptive literature review that collected scientific articles published between 2018 and 2023. Results: Forensic psychological evaluation in recent years has obtained an important role as an investigative resource in cases of CSA. The professionals in charge use it because they have obtained favorable results and, in turn, have identified psychological repercussions that minors have. Conclusion: It was corroborated that there is a better coping style in CSA cases in Latin America with the use of forensic psychological evaluation; since there are valid instruments to obtain reliable results. Even though this evaluation has limitations, it is still valid because it is based on solid theories and scientific arguments.Ítem Solo Metadatos Factores de riesgo de victimización por abuso sexual infantil.
