- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoEstudio de la anatomía interna de molares inferiores mediante la técnica de diafanización, tomografía computarizada y microtomografía. Revisión bibliográfica(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2021) Zeas Toalongo, Verónica Alexandra; Montesinos Rivera, Mayra Vanessa; 0106421696; ., .OBJECTIVE: The objective of this research is to present the internal dental anatomy of the lower molars through diagnostic methods such as diaphanization, tomography computerized and microtomography. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The applied methodology was a bibliographic review in which search engines in health science were used (Decs and Mesh) considering the scientific database of the Catholic University of Cuenca between others. RESULTS: Currently, the most widely used diagnostic method is tomography. computerized and as a result of this study it was found that the most common variant in the mandibular first molar had two canals with 51.17% for the mesial root with a classification of Vertucci type IV with 48.64% while the distal root was 64.67% for a canal with a classification of 72.87% for type l. For the mesial root of the second molar, it was found 51.26% for three canals with a classification of 44.04% for type II and for the distal root found 60.03% for a duct with a type I classification of 88.80%. Was presented another variant that was the ducts in C which prevailed more than type C1 with 43.82%. CONCLUSIONS: The lower molars present a complex anatomy because they are the teeth more occlusal load they present, for this reason the professional must know the different variants that is presented in order to avoid the failure of endodontics in the consultation.
