- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoDependencia emocional en mujeres víctimas de violencia.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2024) Yumbla Salinas, Kennedy; Padilla Samaniego, María; 1400875124The objective of this study focused on women with emotional dependence who have been victims of intimate partner violence. The methodology used was qualitative, and the information was collected through a bibliographic review using the PRISMA method for study selection. The search was done through the following digital repositories and databases: Web of Science, sciELO, PubMed, and Scopus. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 22 scientific articles were selected for the literature review. After analyzing the results, it was found that psychosocial factors such as low education, economic precariousness, a history of childhood violence, an anxious attachment style, and emotional dependence are characteristic of women who suffer from intimate partner violence. In addition, the consequences of violence include low self-esteem, loss of life satisfaction, the risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections, and complications in pregnancy.
