The Ricketts analysis presents reference standards to compare patient cephalograms measurements before orthodontic treatment and achieve a harmonic result. The objective was to determine cephalometric values based on the Ricketts analysis with a harmonic perception in an adult population of Cuenca, Ecuador, in 2022. The study was quantitative, observational, and documentary with a cross-sectional design. It included 23 radiographic (performed at a greater distance than usual to avoid image distortion) of adults aged 18 to 45 years old from a dental office in Cuenca. The data were collected from 2020 to 2022 using AutoCAD 2023 software. Descriptive statistics were used, and the Student's t-test was employed to compare the measurements, with a significance level of 5% (p<0.05). Significant differences exceeding the standards were found in the angle of the mandibular plane, the mandibular arch, the protrusion of the lower incisor, inclination of the lower incisor, and the position of the upper first molar; on the other hand, the facial axis, lower facial height, maxillary depth, extrusion of the lower incisor, and interincisal angle presented lower values, while the facial depth, convexity, and lower labial protrusion are similar to the reference standards. The harmonious perception of the study group revealed bony bases retrusion, dolichofacial pattern, incisal retro inclination, proclination, and protrusion of the lower incisors, which differ from Ricketts' cephalometric standards.
