Año 2019.(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2019) Tinoco Zurita, María del Cisne; Villarreal Chérrez, Tania Maricela; 075059847; ., .This research work arises from the need to implement a Quality Management System in the production process, based on the ISO 9001 version 2015 standard in the company HORMI- CENTER CÍA. LTDA., a company mainly dedicated to the production and commercialization of ready-mixed concrete, located in the El Cisne Sector, Javier Loyola Parish, Via Azogues-Cuenca. The present case study begins with a general diagnosis of the company, which is why the unstructured interview methodology and the direct observation of the processes through visits to the entity's facilities were used, in addition to inductive and deductive methods. Later in the second chapter, art was traced where theoretical definitions were established that support the research. An introduction to the origin and evolution of ISO 9000 was developed in the third chapter, and briefly mentioned the ISO 9001: 2008 standards. Then in chapter 4, the quality policy was determined, which breaks down the general and specific objectives. Documented information was also obtained on the quality controls and records of the production process implemented by the Company, resulting in the development of a redesign of records and procedures prepared by the author of this investigation. Finally, chapter 5 proceeded to comply with the proposed proposal on the implementation of the Quality Management System, based on the requirements of the standard, executing section 8 of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard.
