This dental clinical case highlights the importance of stomatological management and patients' rehabilitation with ID in pediatric dentistry. A 9-year-old male patient with a 20% intellectual development disorder diagnosis was referred by the Diagnostic, Psychopedagogic Research and Inclusion Support Unit (UDIPSAI by its Spanish acronym) and attended the dental office for a checkup; at first, a suppurative lesion was observed in the gum near the 6.5 dental organs; the patient was classified in Frankl's scale 2. The dental management was conducted with the tell-show-do and imitation technique, and the rehabilitation procedure was performed in the following phases: emergency, preventive, restorative, and rehabilitative.
