Through the study of comparative regulations of countries in Asia, Europe and Latin America, where leave for painful menstruation has already been approved or discussed, the feasibility of increasing paid leave for three days a month for women who provide labor services in Ecuador, who medically demonstrate suffering from dysmenorrhea. In such a way that the Ecuadorian State guarantees the full exercise of rights, ensuring the well-being of women, reconciling their right to health and work, since it offers the possibility of justified absence without any repercussion of their labor rights.
