Materials and methods: Descriptive, observational cross-sectional study, the GOHAI (GERIATRIC ORAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT INDEX) questionnaire, and data to obtain the BMI (Body Mass Index) were applied to establish the quality of life related to nutritional status. The sample includes older adults (65 or older) attending senior centers who are informed and consent. Results: The present study determined that the impact on older adults´ oral health was mainly low, with scores below 50 according to the GOHAI index. The most significant impact was on the female sex. No relationship between oral health quality of life and nutritional status could be evidenced according to sex and age group. Conclusions: The impact did not affect the quality of life of older adults, likewise, no relationship was established between impact and nutritional status, however, it can be deduced because, as it is a captive group, older adults constantly are checking their physical condition and attend weight and height controls.
