Objective: To evaluate the nutritional status and lifestyle of cab drivers in Azogues and Biblián cantons from December 2022 to March 2023. Methodology: This research was a quantitative, observational, correlational, prospective, cross-sectional study, the population consisted of 161 cab drivers, weight and height were recorded to evaluate nutritional status by body mass index and lifestyle, and an instrument validated by Walker, Sechrist, and Pender was applied. The information was processed using SPSS version 29, and the Pearson Chi-Square statistical test was used for statistical analysis, respecting the bioethical aspects of scientific research on human beings. Results: The age group with the highest number of participants was between 31-40 years old, all of them male, and with a working day longer than 8 hours; the nutritional status showed that more than 60% were overweight, 10.6% had type I obesity and 92.7% had an unhealthy lifestyle. There is a statistically significant relationship between the two study variables. Conclusion: The study population is at risk; this research warns the Union of Taxi Operators of Cañar to develop intervention strategies to improve their quality of life.
