Ítem Acceso Abierto Anteproyecto del edificio del GAD Parroquial de Ricaurte: un ejemplo de construcción con madera laminada en zonas rurales(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2025) Salazar Zanipatin, Ariel Alejandro; Quesada Molina, Juan Felipe; 0107351462This paper presents the preliminary architectural project for the construction of the Decentralized Autonomous Government (GAD, by its Spanish acronym) of the Parish of Ricaurte, in Cuenca. The project addresses the identified need to provide the parish with a functional, accessible, and representative administrative facility. Its relevance lies in the improvement of local public management, the optimization of citizen services, and the revitalization the urban space through a sustainable building integrated into its surroundings. The proposal incorporates laminated eucalyptus wood as the main construction system, a renewable and low-impact material, combined with concrete walls on the ground floor. This approach generates a replicable technical contribution for other rural areas. The design is a three-story building with bioclimatic criteria, universal accessibility, and a direct integration with Buena Esperanza Park. The research used a descriptive-propositive approach, applying surveys to a non-probabilistic sample of 90 participants. The result is a proposal that is coherent with the social and territorial context, fostering the institutional and community development of the parish.
