- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoRol de enfermería en pacientes post covid-19: Una revisión sistemática(Universidad Católica de Cuenca, 2022-11-01) Saeteros Castillo, Jhonny Alexander; Espadero, Rosa Gabriela; 030247850-8ABSTRACT Introduccion: Nurses challenges and performance in the global healthcare systenm have allowed them to fulfill various roles in care, education, administration, and research. The COVID-19 pandemic has intensified these challenges as this pathology produced a high mortality rate and a great demand for post-hospital care. Patients who overcame the SARS-CoV-2 infection developed respiratory and cardiac sequelae, creating specialized médium and long-term carecenters. Objetive: To systrematize the available scientific evidence on the role of nursing in post-covid19 patients.Mathodology; A systematic review study to interpret scientific articles from 2020-2022 in Spanish and English was carried out under the PRISMA method. Results: this study was base don 22 articles and data gathered from de bibliographic search, making it possible to classify them into categories such as priority care for post-acute patients and their families, guiding care,assistance and research role. Conclusion: The nursing staff provides quality care that guarantees professional practice for individualized post-covi-19 patients,along with guiding application and assistance care, it was achieved with the creation of protocols, guides, and care manuals according to the users´and families requests.
