Objective: To determine the quality of life of pregnant women in the Americas by reviewing the literature. Methodology: We checked the information in different scientific bases using the PRISMA method in rigorous journals to determine the objectives affecting pregnant women's quality of life. Results: Among the main results found, 67% of pregnant women were between fourteen and forty years of age, the level of education was high school with 33%, and marital status was 29% single; according to the dimensions of Quality of Life the most affected were psychological 43º/ and physical 57% health; about vitality/environment 24% indicated an important affectation, according to the trimesters of pregnancy concerning the quality of life the most affected was the third trimester with 54%. Conclusion: Quality of life is affected during pregnancy in all dimensions and independently of sociodemographic characteristics.
