This study used the inductive-deductive methodology and the analytical-synthetic method to analyze from a dogmatic and theoretical perspective what refers to the telematics summons and its reform within the General Organic Code of Processes (COGEP by its Spanish acronym). The findings showed that the telematics summons is limited within the reform as far as the subpoena process is concerned, so it is necessary to implement an amendment that allows its autonomy, thus enabling compliance with due process and adequate judicial protection. In conclusion, establishing the procedural autonomy of the telematics subpoena reduces the time of the subpoena process. It automates certain activities within the judicial function, improving its operability and technical effectiveness.
