The emergence of new strains has so far not allowed daily activities to return to the normality in which we were accustomed to live before this confinement. Under these circumstances, there are several ways to control the respect for biosafety regulations, most ofthem, carried out through manual activities, with unreliable equipment, where the presence of the individual determines whether a person can be admitted or not to enter different places. Therefore, the objective of this study is to propose a body temperature measurement system that can be used within the compliance of biosafety protocols. In its structure, it presents an adequate study of literature and state of the art, accompanied by a methodology for the acquisition of information and development of the system. It details the use of artificial vision and digital image processing, showing how to capture body temperature at face level, applying artificial intelligence, with the use ofnon-invasive and non-contact systems. The most relevant conclusion is that the use of automatic control systems contributes to the solution of social problems, especially in this time of pandemic, as a contribution of electronics and artificial intelligence towards biosecurity.
