Thus emerging, among one of these techniques, concrete reinforced with steel fibers. The purpose of this titling work is to evaluate the physical and mechanical properties of a concrete reinforced with steel fibers in the city of Azogues, Province of Cañar, since the implementation of said fibers improves the properties of concrete providing high resistance to traction, impact and cracking, great ductility, tenacity, durability, among others, in addition to being a fast and efficient reinforcement solution Economical due to savings in materials and labor. Tests are carried out on the coarse and fine aggregates obtained from the Santa Mine. Isabel, with which the respective concrete designs are subsequently made, the which will be subjected to compression, traction and bending tests using samples of concrete with and without steel fibers, the results will be evaluated in such a way that they give us a clear and precise idea of the influence of steel fibers in concrete. Additionally, this study is based on ASTM, ACI and INEN standards
