Objective: To determine the cardiovascular factors and risk in people aged 40 to 74 from Javier Loyola parish from December 2022 to March 2023. Methodology: Correlational type study, non-experimental design with quantitative approach. The population comprises 2,086 inhabitants between 40 and 74 years of age, from which 343 people were selected. For the sample selection, simple random probability sampling was used. Results: The female sex, with 50.1%, was predominant, averaging 54 years of age; 37% presented a cardiovascular disease record; 6.4% suffer from chronic renal disease; 26.8% have diabetes mellitus; likewise, 32.1% indicate a high total cholesterol level; 34.1% have a high blood pressure level; 21.6% smoke; and 38.5% of body mass index was obtained, highlighting overweight. All these factors have a p-value of less than 0.05. Conclusion: Among the causal factors, overweight, high blood pressure levels, and hypercholesterolemia prevailed, and the population was classified within a moderate risk level.
