The aim is to analyse through a literature review the use of artificial intelligence as a support for learning in the health sciences. We searched PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and Scielo. The keywords used were "Artificial Intelligence", "Learning" and "Medicine". The results show benefits for student training by implementing innovative teaching methods that include the use of artificial intelligence in clinical practices, which play an essential role in diagnosis and treatment, as well as in their learning. It is concluded that artificial intelligence has become an invaluable tool in the field of medical learning, enhancing the ability of healthcare professionals to make decisions, accelerate medical research and provide more personalised care.
