These impact the development of the adolescent; hence it is essential to know the psychological intervention strategies that help to face the consequences that prevent adequate growth. Considering the family as the environment in which the infant evolves, where physical, psychological, and social changes occur, it imitates behaviors allowing it to interact with peers and foster interpersonal relationships for a healthy adulthood. The members of a dysfunctional family are those unable to resolve conflicts, creating diffuse roles, and conflictive and chaotic interactions. This study is a bibliographic review in which search strategies were used in scientific databases, analyzing articles based on psychological interventions suitable for adolescents with a dysfunctional family environment. The findings made it possible to determine that the cognitive-behavioral model is the most efficient. Given the intervention in the behavioral integrity of both adolescents and family members since cognitions are distorted, authority conflicts arise, demotivation, loss of interest in studies, and difficulty in solving everyday problems in the dysfunctional family environment. The techniques with the best results are conditioned behavioral management of positive and negative reinforcement, psychoeducation, assertiveness communication techniques, cognitive restructuring, and conflict resolution training.
