Methodology: A bibliographic review focused on the exploration of information was conducted in scientific databases such as Dialnet, SciELO, ProQuest, Redalyc, and Medscape, corresponding to the last five years, with searches applied in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Keywords such as Intervention, Care, Nursing, Sepsis, and Neonatal were used according to Descriptors in Health Sciences (DeCs), as well as the Boolean operators "AND" and "OR." Results: The highest prevalence rate of neonatal sepsis is found in Colombia 59.1%, Mexico 45%, and Honduras 32.5%; the associated factors are multiple pregnancies, the threat of abortion, gestational age, and infections due to bacterial colonization; the complications are acute respiratory distress syndrome and pneumonia together with septic shock leading to severe consequences for the neonate. The nursing intervention is highlighted to complement the therapeutic approach to neonatal sepsis, including broad-spectrum antibiotics and comprehensive care for the health and well-being of the neonate. Conclusion: Neonatal sepsis represents a public health problem that requires mechanisms and strategies for its management, the approach should be multidisciplinary, and the role of nurses is fundamental in preventing complications through specialized care to minimize costs for both families and the health system. Keywords: Interventions, Care, Nursing, Neonates, Sepsis.
