It is a new coronavirus that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome in people, generating a pathological scenario with significant human mortality. People with the highest risk of getting infected and developing this pathological condition are the elderly, pregnant women and people with cardiac, pulmonary, renal, respiratory and chronic degenerative diseases. Therefore, this research aims to systematize the available scientific evidence on the sequelae of Covid 19 in patients with chronic degenerative diseases; a bibliographic analysis of the scientific literature was carried out. It is a meta-study research with a systematic review was carried out under a qualitative approach; 15 publications gathered from scientific information sources such as Google Scholar, Scopus, MedLine, SciELO, Redalyc, and ProQuest were considered. Results show that chronic degenerative diseases can gradually and progressively destroy the person's body, consequently conditioning their integral well-being and increasing the vulnerability to a possible contagion of Covid 19. In conclusion, it is found that patients with chronic degenerative diseases who have overcome the Covid 19 may report cardiac, pulmonary, and psychological or mental sequelae such as fear, depression, fear and anxiety, leading to suicidal behavior or the commitment of it. Thus, it can be said that a continuous monitoring is required Keywords: covid 19, sequelae, patients, chronic diseases.
