Ítem Solo Metadatos El proceso de enculturación y su incidencia en la identidad cultural de los adolescentes de la parroquia San Joaquín(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2020) Pillacela Morocho, Galo Patricio; 0105769004The transmission of culture in the society occurs through the observation and the ancestral beliefs, many aspects are similar from one generation to another while maintaining a learning experience, where the older generation incites, induces, and forces the younger generation to learn the traditions or customs that are the cultural identity of a given place. The study was based on determining the process of enculturation and its incidence on the cultural identity of adolescents, the level of knowledge about their culture, traditions and customs, and their enculturation in front of society; the method used was inductive, the approach quantitative, and the technique for the collection of the survey information supported by the questionnaire instrument. The results obtained show that enculturation significantly affects adolescents due to different factors, such as communication, for example, family participation in the cultural sphere, as well as cultural events that the Parish Autonomous Government maintains; however, the dissemination of the information is not adequate to all the inhabitants, and in this case the adolescents. Another important factor is technology, especially the internet and social networks, which influences the identity of the culture and its traditions, through these means, adolescents capture and adopt other characteristics losing their native essence.
