There are several definitions on the subject; nonetheless, one of the most accurate states that the prescription is a means to acquire the domain of things by its exercise or by the passage of a time generally established within the law. This practice has become increasingly important to such an extent that it has become a burden for the current judicial system, preventing the processes from being conducted quickly and effectively, also generating a violation of the right to property of the persons. This is why it is considered a means of assistance to lighten this high procedural burden, and it is necessary to refer the competence of these processes to the different notary offices in our country. This research aims to analyze the procedure to be carried out to make this situation possible and effective in practice by enforcing the right to property of the people.
