Objective: To analyze the role of nursing in Primary Health Care through an organized study. Methodology: A systematic review was conducted based on the PRISMA method, in relevant scientific bases that allow the nursing role to be analyze and described, determining the fuctions it fulfills and detailing the positive and negative aspects of nursing staff in Primary Health Care by exploring articles published in the last ten years in Spanish and English, verifying their quality and acquiring them for browsers such as PubMed, SciELO, Scopus, Google Scholar. Results: According to the inclusion criteria, 134 articles were obtained, of which 38 were duplicates, 32 did not meet the inclusion criteria, 28 belonged to monographs, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral theses, and 16 did not have an impact factor, choosing 20 articles. Conclusion: Nursing provides optimal, safe and timely services, focusing ist performance on health promotion-prevention actions. Its multiple activities include taking vital signs, anthropometric measurements, and immunizations.
