Ítem Acceso Abierto Conocimientos del personal de enfermería sobre manejo de drogas vasoactivas en áreas críticas. Hostipal: Vicente Corral Moscoso, José Carrasco Arteaga y Homero Catanier Crespo, período septiembre 2019 - febrero 2020(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2020) Ortiz Rivera, Jessica Alexandra; Vázquez Álvarez, Karen Belén; González León, Fanny Mercedes; 0302768213; 0302402011; .Objective: To determine the level of knowledge of the professional nursing staff on the management of Vasoactive Drugs in the critical areas of the Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital, José Carrasco Arteaga and Homero Castanier Crespo. Methodology: Non-experimental, descriptive research with quantitative approach. Sample: 161 nurses in critical areas: Emergency, Adult ICU, Pediatric ICU and Neonatology. Technique: Questionnaire 16 alternative or multiple choice questions prepared by the authors and validated by experts. Data processing: statistical part SPSS Version 25 and Microsoft Excel 2016. Results of the respondents: Regarding the sociodemographic variables: 61.5% are young adults, 29% belong to the Emergency area, have a work experience between: 47 39% years, experience in the area between 2-7 years 69.2%, 86% have a third level of training and 54.7% of the services have management protocols. Regarding the level of knowledge, 59.6% of the staff has excellent knowledge, there is statistical significance between the level of knowledge and the provision of protocols in the area pv = 0.002 Conclusion: The majority of the personnel surveyed are young adults, they work in the area of emergency, has a work experience and experience in the area of more than 4 years, most have third level of training and more than half of professionals have excellent knowledge about the management of Vasoactive Drugs
