Ítem Solo Metadatos Inmunoterapia en cancer de colon en paciente con tuberculosis y COVID 19- Reporte de caso(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Orellana Pasiche, Josselyn Selena; Maita Supliguicha, Jorge Marcelo; 0706979069Background: The following case study consists of a colon cancer that was treated with chemo and immunotherapy, where it involves targeted therapy that helps the body find and destroy cancer cells. However, the appearance of infectious diseases such as tuberculosis or VOCID 19, complicate the immune system. The following research aims to demonstrate the efficacy of chemo and immunotherapy in a patient with metastatic colon cancer, which concomitantly presented VOCID 19 and Tuberculosis. Case presentation: 38-year-old male patient, diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the colon, who underwent a hemicolectomy + high-debit ileostomy in another health home. During admission for oncological therapy, he suffered from UTI, Covid-19, Aspergillosis and Pulmonary Tuberculosis, whose attention interrupted oncotherapy. Conclusions: The multidisciplinary work carried out by specialists in the different areas allowed us to treat the different pathologies acquired, as well as the basic one, with an improvement in the patient’s general condition, parameters, validity, tolerance to the oral route, and began to walk. There was a decrease in nodule size after immunotherapy, response to partial treatment. This result can be classified as satisfactory considering all the pathologies that interrupted treatment during the hospital stay.
