Despite special medication, children who present this disorder, should be treated by a multidisciplinary team responsible not only for the educational part but also for the psychological, medical, and dental part, always aiming at holistic child care. The dental professionals who will treat them should be trained and know how to receive this type of patient and integrate them into oral health using different methods and protocols of dental care. In the description of this clinical case, we want to show the treatment of children with autism through the use of 3 techniques: "Treatment and Education of children with autism and other communication problems" (TEACCH), "Tell, Show, Do" (DMH), and "Systematic Desensitization" (SD), covering from the management in dental practices and considering each of the characteristics of patients and their responses to stimuli, willing to learn whether the techniques proposed internationally can benefit the quality of care and service to these patients.
