- ÍtemAcceso Abierto“Riesgo de infarto agudo de miocardio. Revisión sistemática”(Universidad Católica de Cuenca., 2023) Morales Fernández, Mayte Aracely; Morquecho Chuqui, Andrea Ximena; Altamirano Cárdenas, Luis Francisco; 0350010088; 0302915020; ., .Background: Acute myocardial infarction is a severe coronary syndrome. It is characterized by the sudden onset of ischemic distress (lack of irrigation) to a part of the heart muscle produced by the acute and total obstruction of one of the coronary arteries that feed it. Objective: To identify the factors involved in the risk of acute myocardial infarction in people under 50 years old through a literature review. Methodology: The research model will be conducted through a systematic review. In addition, the method (PRISMA) will be applied for this research to increment its transparency. Results: The primary risk factor associated with acute myocardial infarction, according to the studies reviewed, is smoking, with 63.19%, and it has a higher percentage of prevalence in young adults. Likewise, obesity influences 42.06% of the young population, psychological stress corresponds to 34.7%, and a record of High Blood Pressure (HBP) constitutes a percentage of 33.65%. In other words, the profile of a person at high risk of suffering an acute myocardial infarction before the age of 50 years old would be an adult under this age with smoking, obesity, psychological stress, and HBP record. Regarding sex, men have a higher prevalence with 67.5% while women represent a percentage of 32.5%.
