Objective: To analyze the relationship between teaching methods and evaluation techniques used in dental program education. Methods: The research employed a qualitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional design. The target population comprised 40 teachers from the Dentistry Program at the Catholic University of Cuenca Campus Azogues. Results: Significant insights were revealed regarding the correlation between pedagogical approaches and evaluation techniques in Dentistry. The strong association among teaching methods, resources, strategies, and learning approaches suggests an internal coherence within teaching methodologies. In conclusion, this research's findings underscore the need to improve the coherence and synchronization between teaching methodologies and evaluation techniques. Promoting this coherence could enhance dental education holistically, benefiting the teachers ' practices and students' learning achievements.
