A useful tool to efficiently manage processes is internal control, ratifying that it is an essential stage in the management of enterprises, emphasizing that it helps women's involvement in important roles and decision-making in SMEs in Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Colombia. The issue emerges due to the risks and changes in organizations' environment. The aim is to design internal control strategies for SMEs in the aforementioned countries, which was applied to 198 entrepreneurs to strengthen women's involvement in the labor force. The methodology to be used as a mixed approach, under the deductive method, aligned with the strengths of both qualitative and quantitative methods. It was analyzed through descriptive statistics with the K-means method determined by groups with ANOVA, showing a statistical significance of 5% that determined (<0.05), finding certain shortcomings both in the production or provision of the service and the increase in the cost of raw materials, materials, and workforce. Determining improvement actions, which will prevent, protect and transfer, considering the Risicar method through strategies framed to innovation, market research, and customer service.
