Is essential to diagnose them early, this being possible through cultures of respiratory samples, blood and detection of antigens by PCR. The incidence, prevalence, and characteristics of secondary infections are not exactly known, so they require further investigation. The objetive of this investigation is to identify the main pathogens associated with secondary infections in hospitalized patients diagnosed with COVID-19. This is A non-experimental descriptive bibliographic review will be carried out by analyzing papers on secondary infections in COVID-19 using databases such as PubMed, Medline and Scopus. This research seeks to find that referred patients with a positive diagnosis of COVID-19 hospitalized are more susceptible to superinfection of bacterial, viral and fungal agents. The results we find are that patients have a higher prevalence of bacterial infections added to the viral infection by COVID-19 when they are in a hospital environment
